Free publications from 2018 Shanghai Ranked institutions in DSpace
A wide uptake of institutional repositories facilitates open access access to scientific research.
The latest edition of the annual Academic Ranking of World Universities, aka Shanghai Ranking, came out last week. As the list below shows, a large number of these world-renowend make their research outputs freely available for online consultation, through their DSpace repositories.

DSpace 7.0 Release Now Available!
The long awaited and much anticipated DSpace 7.0 is now available. This release introduces a brand new (Angular) UI which brings together the best of both the JSPUI and XMLUI worlds. All the features you've come to expect from DSpace are re-imagined and re-implemented. This new UI is also backed by a brand new REST API, which opens all data and features to the web, allowing DSpace to integrate or interact with external systems/services like never before. Highly integrated Radboud Repository upgraded to DSpace 6
Bolstering commitment to open access and open source, Radboud University Nijmegen completed a major DSpace upgrade and migration to Atmire managed hosting.
